I would buy it in a second if it was made out of metallic materials. But wood... I don't know...

Personally I'd say no, merely because I think that price is too high. But if your concern is that its wood, don't worry. Wood models are just as nice, I say more so because there's a degree of craftsmanship involved as opposed to mass stamping.
