Is this inconsiderate...

Seconds don't mean anything. We are taking about a point of view. Either you give a gesture that says "hey stranger, I'll adjust myself slightly for you, even though it technically will barely make a time difference" or you refuse to give that simple gesture and instead give off the message "hey buddy, I don't care who you are - now you wait for me, and I will take as long as I take."

There are 2 types of people. I like to pick up the pace. If you don't, that's fine - just realize that in society we all know what you are.

Actually there are 3 types of people - those that will pick up the pace, those that won't and those that can't and unfortunately it isn't always possible to tell the won'ts from the can'ts.

I happen to think it's polite to make haste to get out of someone's way if you're impeding their movement.

I don't hold the "I have the right, so fuck you and wait" belief.

I just think it's inconsiderate.

This guy gets it. I always jog/move quickly. Who the fuck am I to be holding people up?

Get over yourselves.

:lol::p

the quickness of youth dosnt last forever and neither does good health.

people eventually learn.

I try and hurry through a crosswalk. I will also give the driver of the stopped vehicle(s) a nod or quick hand wave of appreciation. When i was in school i had a friend who was a real ass, he would stop in the middle of the crosswalk and then undo and retie both his shoes before fully crossing. He would also hop on the bumpers of cars waiting at red lights and "bounce" them a couple times just before the light turned green.

Sounds like a good way to get a car rammed into your sphincter.
