Is Stargate dead... forever?

^^That second one beneifts from not being a cruddy pop song, but as I recall every prior episode of that season had ended with a montage, and at this point I was getting sick of montages in general.

It really is a shame when a show wears out something like a montage. When done right a montage can be awesome. Stargate pulled off great montages before, like the finale of SG-1, or Atlantis with that funeral song sung by Teyla, or the Johnny Cash song in the Vegas episode.

I had no problems with montages or the songs picked even though I remember hearing any of them on the radio. At least unlike on Smallville they weren't some kind of pop culture tie-in.
