Is "North Star" ever followed up on?

I'm watching the series on Netflix and just finished this episode last night, and I was wondering: Is there any books or episodes or anything that returns to that world? Thanks in advance.

Nope. Thankfully. That was my least favorite episode of season three. Something of a "Wild Wild 37's".

Nope, nothing. I'm still waiting for a follow-up to "Damage", myself...
Me, too.
I'm also waiting for a followup on Similitude. Phlox ignored the Lyssarian protocol that their larvae were not to be used to create clones. I would like to have seen something done on that after the Xindi mission.

Ah the episode were Reed demonstrates the art of shooting the hostage. A logical course of action.

I'm still waiting for the spawn of that transplanted slug to come after Archer and Hoshi, and threaten to destroy Earth for kidnapping their ancestor and then dumping him on some unexplored rock in the middle of nowhere... :p

No and thank god for that. One of my least favourite episodes of Enterprise and possibly the entire Star Trek franchise.

Fan-fiction aside, not much chance of anything being followed up on...

For a moment, I was slightly optimistic with the announcement about Peter Weller in the next film.

But common sense all too quickly kicked in!

The slug episode was IMO the most boring ep in ENT. That and the "Oh Dear, what food does Reed like?" ep were what made me stop watching ENT when it was on late night tv here (late night tv with all the phone sex ads and irregular times was also a factor).

Of course I was wrong, ENT is fantastic Trek and I have now rewatched the whole thing several times. But the slug ep is still heavy handed and boring.

Was that SNW story good?

And who knows, maybe we will see him on the screen again thanks to time travel. It's a great story just waiting to be used.

I'm already in spoiler free mode so I somehow missed the Peter Weller news.. fantastic!!!

Hey Paxton was a canny bastard, maybe he grabbed himself some cryogenic gear and is going to wake up in the future. He can be a nerd version of Khan. Or something.. we can hope. I would love any ENT folks in ST:XII though considering Abrams doesn't want any more TOS folks it seems unlikely. Still if he could just sneak Daniels into the background somewhere I would be very happy.

I can't really remember much about it, only that it was set in Cochrane's camp during the events of First Contact.

I loved North Star.

You know the amount of follow up requests as well as things like telling the E2 story which people want from all the series makes me wonder why we get NOTHING like this in Trek lit. Okay we got the Khan saga, that's about it.
