Is it me or does Dennis Quaid look like Saddam?

I was watching parts of Smart People and in some scenes I looked at Quaid and said, holy crap the guy look like Hussein! If they made a TV movie about Saddam or even a movie, I think Quaid should get the role.

I would say the actor who played Saddam in the Hot Shots movies looks like Saddam. Dennis Quaid looks like Harrison Ford.

Although if they ever make a movie about Bin Laden, I'm sure they'll cast a blond-hair, blue-eyed American actor and change the character's religion to Mormon or Catholic.

With good make-up artists, they can make anyone look like practically anyone else, but without Hollywood make-up? I'm afraid I don't see it.

No, it's just you.

If anything, as DQ gets older, he is reminding me of Harrison Ford. His voice even sounds similar and as he is getting older he is even getting that gruff "I don't care enough to even enunciate my words" mumbling way of speaking.

I have always said if they want to do SW VII, VIII and IX(as Lucas once said he DID, even though he will deny ever saying it now)and Ford doesn't want to do it, they could get Quaid and it would work out great.

I seen "Smart People". Quaid doesn't look like Husein, but he starting to look old, IMHO.

Not saying he looks like Saddam; but I felt his performance as Saladin was one of the highlights of Kingdom of Heaven (and left the cinema firmly believing had the film rested on his shoulders rather than Bloom's mahogany frame we might have got a great movie).

Have you seen Quaid in Jaws 3-D? Yeah, that wasn't slumming it for a paycheck or anything. Although maybe he got to hook up with Lea Thompson.
