Is IDW on the edge of bankruptcy?

Sorry if I'm an idiot, but what is it that you receive if you 'buy digital on Amazon'? I'm wary I will only get something for my black and white Kindle, and I'd want something readable by a comic app, ideally something that would appear in my Comixology account...

In general, with my US Amazon and Comixology accounts linked, any comic books I purchase on the Amazon.com website can be viewed on any of my Kindle devices or devices with the Kindle app installed or in the Comixology app.

You can probably test it with a free comic book. "Star Trek: Year Four - The Enterprise Experiment #1" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N13U22Y appears to be free in the US.

when i download a comic from amazon, it just goes right to my kindle reader on my phone. and i read it from there.

For what it's worth, according to the latest update, Trek comics editor Heather Antos was spared the axe and is still working at IDW.

They'd have been delisted anyway; the stock has been below a dollar for a while.

IDT is a very successful company, with many profitable acquisitions and sell offs, and all the other things that keep stock prices going well. Although it will be going on with far fewer employees, IDW is not going away any time soon.

Sounds like IDW is running a master class on the wrong way to handle layoffs. While the rise of remote work has generally been a boon to the workers who are in a position to be able to avail themselves of it, these kind of mass "sorry, you're gone" Zoom meetings have become more and more prevalent.
