Golf is fun as hell to play. I love it.

Just this past weekend I played with two of THESE. Oh the fun we had. I still managed to shoot a 92!

As for watching it, I think the final round when the leaderboard is tight is the only really fun time to watch it - just like baseball, the last 3 outs of a tight game is the only exciting part.

That's a pretty big jug of "aiming fluid" there! I could've used a few of those during the charity tourney I played in last week- the beer cart was awfully slow that day.

I've never understood golf's appeal but then baseball bores some people into comas too. Different strokes - no pun intended.

I'm of the belief that Golfers have the worst fashion sense in the world. It's almost as if they decided to sleep in what they were going to wear on the golf course or something, at least for the pant part. Yasper Parnivick and Sergio Garcia are the worst. It's just really really ugly looking. If you're going to be a professional, be like Rodger Federer and come to play in style. At least Tiger does that, especially on Sunday.

P. Stewart (not Patrick, ...Payne) was by far the BEST DRESSED golfer, imo.

Golf is the best sport in the world. It's fun to get outside, get some fresh air, quench your thirst, and play 18 different holes. I like watching it on tv too, because once you play the game you understand how much skill is actually required.

It's not like basketball where the same players run back and forth 5000 times a game on the same court. That's fun to watch...not.

I don't like baseball either, it's usually pretty boring too.

What about auto racing? Where cars drive in big ovals. For hours.

Who said the famous quote "Golf is a good walk ruined"?

Golf isn't a sport, neither is bowling. There is no physical benefit to golf, or bowling, so yes they are boring but they aren't even a sport.

Of course there's a physical benefit to bowling. Throwing a 16 pound ball helps the arm strength.
