Is Enterprise really the worst Sci Fi spin-off ever?

I can't even see the list. Seems to be a badly coded page.

And the answer to the OP is: No, it isn't, not by a long shot. Even if one looks at it more objectively, it is a half-way decent Sci Fi series at least.

 The concept is quite interesting, but the intro is astonishingly bad. Unbelievable.

Because nothing says 'dystopian future' like a cheery theme song!

Enterprise as the worst sci-fi spin off? Not even close!!!

Okay, sure, there were times where it was a little rough around the edges, but in a way, Star Trek is like sex...when it's bad, it's still pretty good!

Enterprise had a brilliant premise that really didn't capitalise on it until the third and fourth season. By that time, the problem was that fans were starting to turn away, and the ratings started to slide quite badly. Thankfully Manny Coto came on to the show when it was needed, and the quality improved drastically. Unfortunately, the damage had been done at that point, and the fans didn't WANT to come back, and the show was doomed to cancellation - I would have liked to have seen how the fifth season would have gone, had the campaigns like "Save Enterprise" had succeeded, or another network like The Sci-Fi Channel had picked up the show from Paramount. I reckon there could have been some good storytelling there...unfortunately, we'll never know. I still find it hard to believe that the show finished four years ago, and there is no new Trek on TV. Had Enterprise run the full 7-year course, it would have only finished last year. Strange feeling, isn't it?

To say it was the worst spin off EVER, is a gross injustice! It was just unfortunate it didn't get the love and respect it perhaps should have deserved.

I think TNG is the worst. The purity of the crew left us with a pretty dull series in which everyone else -- usually aliens -- were always wrong, evil, bad, greedy, selfish, crazy.

Snore.

And while there were a lot of really good episodes, IMO, the vast majority of the episodes were mediocre (and I'm being charitable).

How Battlestar Galactica: 1980 didn't make #1 on that list is beyond me, and just shows those folks have no idea what they are talking about.

BSG 1980 was so bad, it made MANIMAL look like I LOVE LUCY.

And I'm not just talking about the similarities between Macorkindale's makeup and Fred Mertz's back hair.

I don't understand what the fuss is all about. Every now and then some Sci-Fi list pops up on the net, made by someone who doesn't know jack about anything.

I've seen list makers who prefer Harry Potter over Star Wars, Narnia over Lord of the Rings, Will & Grace over Seinfeld... I've even seen "Sex and the city" being called the most eagerly anticipated movie of 2008, on national TV for crying out loud!

My point, who gives a crap if some asshole who didn't like Enterprise made some list... Fu** him!

ENTERPRISE had a worse sophomore year than DS9 or VOYAGER did to be honest. But ENT got much better starting in its third season, unlike VOY which more or less began a slow, steady decline in overall enjoyability and quality with the arguable exceptions of introducing Seven of Nine and threats like Species 8472.

Enterprise the worst Sci Fi spin-off ever? No way.

While I rank TNG as the best Star Trek series, I think that Enterprise is definitely a second place contender (it's either that or Voyager for second place in my opinion).

I found it very enjoyable and interesting; shame about its bad viewer ratings (etc.) - that was definitely not deserved. Heck, I even thought its theme tune was pretty awesome. :p
