Is CBS planning on updating the CBS All Access interface?

I went to CBS All Access today, thinking I've never seen an episode of The Good Wife and maybe I should check it out. I click on full episodes. It automatically defaults me to the most recent episode. Then it orders all the episodes in *reverse order*. No way to remember where you are in the sequence, not even automatic progression from one episode to the next.

They are planning on putting one of the biggest TV franchises exclusively on this service to compete with Netflix and Hulu, but apparently have no interest in making their interface even remotely as user friendly? Has anyone heard of CBS having any plans to upgrade their UI? Treating a service that they want people to subscribe to and use to marathon view their shows like it's designed to just let people catch the episode they just missed is just dumb.

Yahoo lost like 40 million dollars on Yahoo Screen which made the last season of Community literally unwatchable.

So never assume anything, let's hope we get a new app to work with the new series.

I sincerely hope CBS is planning a major upgrade to All Access, because it's been utter crap for years. Not just navigating the app itself, but also issues with playback (both on the Android and web versions) and the number of commercials paying customers are subjected to (compared with similar services like Hulu). I've been a paying customer a few times, but it just wasn't worth the hassle and aggravation.

When Series VI comes around, I think I'll just wait till it comes to iTunes (which we all know it will, eventually). I'm not liking what I'm hearing about CBS All Access. And I don't want to have to get yet another 'account' just to watch one show.

At least with iTunes, I can KEEP the show. In HD.

There are other shows I would watch via All Access besides the new Trek -- Elementary, Supergirl, and the occasional episodes of Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS -- but the service is so awful that even then, it's not worth the aggravation.

I'll wait for the dvd so that I can actually keep it.

You can keep the show if iTunes carries it, as well. You get a 'Season Pass' and individual episodes are downloaded (NOT streamed) to your computer as they become available. And with an AppleTV, you can watch them ON your TV.
