Is anyone hoping for alien species that showed up in VOY, DS9, and next generation?

Given what TPTB did to the Klingons, I wonder if we would even recognize the Trill's at first?

Instead of spots, maybe they'll have multi-colored stripes and be covered in thorns?

Aliens I ABSOLUTELY want to see in DIS:
-Vulcans
-Klingons
-Andorians
-Tellarite
-Orion
-Nausicaan
-Tholians
-Romulans (ONLY if they never get face-to-face with humans! ENT did that actually quite well)
-Many other TOS background aliens (those little golden guys from Journey to Babel?)
-Xindi
-Suliban
-Denobulans
-Gorn

Aliens I'm okay with seeing:
-Cardassians (although earlier ones, before their military revolution)
-Hirogen (those guys came around a lot)
-Breen
-Q
-Tribbles

Aliens I DON'T want to see:
-Ferengi
-Borg
-Dominion (Founders, Vorta, Jem'Hadar)
-Bajorans
-Kazon
-Vidiians
-Talaxians
-Trill

Aliens I'd love to see:
-NEW aliens!

They should just say that while TNG established an ancient species that seeded the Galaxy to favor bipedal humanoid forms, some of the aliens, are much too close to humans and that an attempt will be made, budget permitting, to make some of them a least a little more alien looking. Forehead aliens may all seem too human, but at least some kind of attempt was made to make them a little tiny bit alien in appearance. With Betazoids and Deltans they didn't even try. They are just visually identical to humans in a way that would be very understandable to change.

Serval aliens in TOS where the same. They had that whole work around of the parallel earths theory.

I couldn't have said it better!!

Why not? Those are amazing make-up designs! i don't want them to continue storylines from an older series of course...
But seeing those guys again? Hell yeah!
I agree. i hope the DSC brings back the Xindi. And definitely one of the Dax's.

Okay, I could get into that for that reason. Just, at least, no more mention of the Temporal Cold War. Something new is definitely needed.

 Yes, I believe Space Nazis have definitely fallen out of vogue. Hopefully nobody goes back to that dry old well this time.

I never liked the Xindi particularly, so I'd be happy not to have them appear, although Beyond implies that a peaceful alliance was reached after the war. It's even possible they ended up as Federation members.
Trill make sense as appearing, we know they were in contact with the Federation at this time, although I don't know what they would add to the mix.

I'd be ecstatically happy if we never see the mirror universe again. It's not half as entertaining as the writers clearly think it is, makes no sense at all, and can't be shown properly on a PG rating so we just get our usual characters being a bit mean to each other. Brutal. The only time I thought they came close to what the MU should be like according to its own premise was the scene of torturing the Tholian.
