Well, you can get situations where they are so powerful, they get the police to step in and stop a relationship, as it's a threat to them. Rare, but it happens.

Please, provide me at least one example where police, at the behest of a chav, stepped into a relationship between two "high achievers" and prevented them from conceiving a child. Go ahead, I'll wait.

I have been told on good authority, that it happened. It was more because it was a non-abusive relationship. It was just someone who was just trying to see how much power he had over the police. In most places, it's only the rich and powerful who can do it, in this case, it was a low achiever who was jealous. You can get some places where it is illegal to dance, there are some where it is almost illegal to make love. You believed me on the 'beaten for reading' tale, didn't you?

I'd be very curious to know exactly how this conversation went down. "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to start abusing your woman."

I can believe that there are places where you could be assaulted for reading. Most of those places are public schools.

You don't want chavs, believe me. They don't care about anyone other than themselves, breed prodigiously, permeate the social services, influence the culture and the police, bring their kids up to pick on your kids and won't let you have any, unless you agree for them to be picked on.

And they are totally dependent on everyone else, but refuse to admit it, and make everyone believe the myth that they are actually a tougher form of human, when they are not they are weaker.

As someone who works in a children's centre in a highly deprived area I find your sweeping generalisations hilarious.

I was beaten up by a neighbour, who thought I was strange, cos I didn't sit and watch TV all night. The policeman who dealt with it saw me a year later and sneeringly asked if I was still reading books.

I was 'raped' by a 'tarantula woman', too!

I worked with someone who punched the bosses daughter, and a secretary and someones else who goosed both.

I have some reason to believe there are cultures where academic underachievers are given very,very,positive discrimination.

Also, I had a neighbour who drove his wife to alchoholism with his inadequacy and had a lot of influence over the police, because of this, as he was so indicative of his culture, and he did stop two relationships, cos he was inadequate, and jealous.

Believe it. It was outrageous even there, but it happened.

That's not how you described it in the past. In fact, the way you've told this story before, it sounded more like you were trying to ply a very mentally-disturbed young woman into having sex with you, and she threatened to accuse you of rape.

Robert, feel free to bring that post back up. The first thing she said was, that if I didn't do anything she agreed with, she would accuse me of rape. She was the least mentally undisturbed person I have met and knew the lingo for all acts, which a sexually naive person wouldn't. I didn't ply her at all, she wanted to come back to my flat within four hours of meeting her. She knew perfectly well, that you can prove rape medically, as most women are told, and I didn't, at the time, and I was told by another woman, in a bar, discussing it, that you can. She was a control freak and operated under the presumption dump or be dumped on. As, I said, we went through the rigmarole of initiating intercourse, and then stopping it, at her insistence,for about five hours. I didn't ply anyone robert. She S*** all over me.

Whatever. The second she said "fuck me or I'll cry rape" was the second you should've said "get the fuck out of my house before I call the police." That you continued to work on her for five hours just casts a lot of doubt on your whole story. She wanted sex--and then she didn't? But she'd cry rape if you didn't fuck her? None of that makes any sense and I can't understand why someone wouldn't put an end to it right then and there.

And if you didn't know rape could be medically proven, that's really no one's fault but yours. Don't they have sex ed in the UK?

I did say I wanted to stop it, right from that point, but she said she would cry rape if I did that, too. I didn't work on her for five hours, she was revolting. I just was there, until she decided it was time to leave. It was terrifying. And, we couldn't do nothing, as that would be a waste, but it had to be my idea, and she knew the lingo. Some women are like that, they threaten you with their relatives right from minute one, and her relatives were scary. All you can do is do what they want, till they decide it is over, then run.
