Irving Knew. (Spoilers)

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Bernice Summerfield has been going for 11 years.

The Time Lord Irving Braxiatel has been her friend, employer, foil and villain since season 3 maybe... The point is, that it has recently been revealed that Irving has been turning the universe on it's ass to prepare for some massive devastation that will... End the Time Lords.

No Gallifrey.

No Time Lords.

That sounds familiar.

Sounds like the Time War.

Irving knew.

He knew while 8 was in play and before it began to happen.

More importantly.

Big Finsih is side stepping it's moritorium maybe on all things NuWho.

Are they being cheeky, or are they working up their courage to write the 8th Doctors final adventures in the crux and poopped out the other end of the Time War?

No?

Well, that's confusing. At the end of Gallifrey Series 3
It seems very apparent Gallifrey is set to go full bore on the Time War

And they pretty well confirm that in the Series 4 "Behind the Scenes" Disk.

At the end of Gallifrey Series 4
Brax meets Benny, before they've met in Brax' timeline, and after they've met in Benny's timeline

Must listen to them again.

Brax seems like a little scamp when he's with Romana and Hitler when he's with Benny.

Oh, Charlie Chaplin was The Great Dictator.

I seem to recall Gallifrey IV being a set of nonsensical Sliders parodies that amounted to nothing.

So according to the books Irving is the Doctors brother?

WTF?

Gallifrey S4, yea, Sliders seems like an apt description. I wouldn't say Series 4 amounted to nothing.

You have Narvin's Loss,
Leela's eyesight and strength returned,
Romana's guilt trips and acceptance of "Destroyer of Worlds",
Brax and Lord burner,
K-9.

And the selected "fairy Tales Twists" for the characters on the Slides are very entertaining, IMHO

Internal growth is good, but talk about a safety net.

They can blow up the world or Colin Baker can be the baddie.

I just finished the fourth episode of Epoch.

More pocket universe claptrap.

Again, it's like learning how to run over pedestrians in a parking lot.

Sooner or later they're going to have to take the engine up to ninety and head out onto the roads and risk landing into fire hydrants to score 5 points.

But I have listened to all of Benny, in the last few months since I last listened to Gallifrey...

So I'm making connections the wrong way around.

Ah, and see, I just finished Gallifrey S1-4, and never heard Benny (Other then the quick clip at the end of Gallifrey S4)

There's also a lot of Benny novels and short story collections, and a short animated film.

Though they sort of painted themselves into a bit of a corner at the end of Gallifrey 3 so not sure where they could have gone but still found S4 an enjoyable enough listen.
