Ok, I'll bite:
Personally I always preferred the War Machine suit in the movies - both in terms of colouring and the extra weaponry (provided they all work..); although I'd probably remove the shoulder-mounted chain gun and replace it with something a bit more in-keeping with the rest of the design. Heh, a forearm-mounted fusion cannon would be awesome too... XD
I'd also ensure that the ARC Reactor was better shielded (and blue - why intentionally turn the power source a different colour just to match the eyes?!)
Alternately, I quite liked the "stealth" suit concept, I think done prior to IM1 circa 2007...
