Cable channel G4 has picked up 4 separate Marvel series which will be transplanting Tony Stark, Blade, Logan and his X Compatriots to Japan. From this article, all four shows will be produced anime style, with Warren Ellis serving as show runner.

G4 is teaming with Sony

Glad to see Blade getting some attention again and in an animated manner.
I've got to think its only a matter of time before Marvel reboots that theatrically. Surely the rights have reverted back, or will soon.

I'm interested to see these, but I find it disappointing that all four series are taking place in Japan.

These are the 4 anime that were being created by Madhouse Studios(Japanese Anime company) for the Japanese market. The thing that is surprising me is that the descriptions that are given for G4 make it seem like they're not actually Japanese versions of the superheroes, but rather the actual Marvel characters who for whatever reasons listed are in Japan for certain missions.

I had thought Madhouse was going to do a new Japanese origin for several Marvel superheroes, but actually seeing it's the regular versions in Japan I think it kind of works. We've seen many arcs of Superhero comics take place outside the US, so that's basically what these are then.

^ They are the Marvel heroes who have missions in Japan...

Yea, that's what I said surprised me because I had thought when the projects were first announced that Iron Man was supposed to be Japanese and get a new origin for the anime series.
