Iron Man 3 Discussion/Photos/ETC.

In the comics, Stark was actually crippled for a while and ran an Iron Man robot via mind-linked remote control.

With Mandarin having now been confirmed this may sound like non-news about The Ten Rings in IM3 but it does seem it's going to retroactively confirm their involvement in Iron Man 2 with Whiplash most likely.
In Iron Man 2, a scene was cut (or not filmed) where a man who gave Whiplash fake documentation revealed himself to be an agent of The Ten Rings (this remains in the novelization from what I’m told). Jon Favreau had a great scheme he occasionally mentions to reveal at some point in the Iron Man film future that The Mandarin was behind many of the Stark family’s struggles.

Looks like that vision is going to continue if the Iron Man 3 crew hat is any indication of logo fidelity.
The hat is pictured in the link. Along with the original reference from IM1 for the hat's logo design.

That scene was clearly filmed, it's in the movie. It just doesn't identify the guy as Ten Rings in the version we saw. But the end credits do that.

Izzit just me, or did someone use a Sharpie to pencil in the "mouth" on the mask to make it look more like a frown than simply part of the helmet? One of the things I like about the movie armor designs is that the facial features are not really a deliberate attempt to have a mouth or nose bridge, but end up looking that way. Here, they seem to be making a effort at having the "mouth" more pronounced.

Is it too late to change the title to something...interesting? Creative, perhaps?
I was really shocked when the announced the subtitles for Thor 2 and Captain America 2 that they didn't announce one for this. It would have liked to get something a little more interesting than just Iron Man 3.

They already went with Iron Man 2 for the second movie. It would have been too out of place if they had titled the third movie anything other then Iron Man 3.

They will do something different for the fourth movie though. Movies tend to drop the numbers after the third.

I see them going with The Invincible Iron Man as the title if this series ever gets rebooted though.
