It seems Ira Behr is to be the showrunner of a new Syfy series, Alphas, with David Strathairn being the lead actor:

Sounds like it'll be worth checking out, but other than Straitharn and the guy who played Leoben, the actors are unknowns, which given Skiffy's track record of hiring cheap, pretty, no-talents for their shows, is worrysome...they've had some major problems with bad actors, in both SG:U and Haven lately (not that the writing wouldn't have sunk both of them anyway).
