Introducing our parents

My parents are coming to town for a visit. They will meet my fiancee's parents for the first time. They should enjoy each other's company, especially our mothers who are so similiar in certain ways that scares me and my fiancee a bit.

Does anybody has any stories about this kind of thing in their experience. Do they always get along, or were there any fireworks?

There could have been fireworks when my wife and my parents met, but fortunately there was always one of them willing to bite their tongue. Ironically, I now get along better with her family than my own.
