Intrepid bridge layout

I've been trying to get hold of a bridge schematic for the Intrepid-class, I'm making a 3D model of it but I need a floor plan...most of the ones I can find are just the outlines, can anyone help me out?

The kind I'm referring to is an outline of just the outer walls. There's no interior detail on most of the schematics I've come across.

One of the members of the forums at okudagrams.com made a Voyager bridge model, complete with printouts of the displays, which he reproduced with Illustrator. I don't remember which person it was, but there's a thread about it (maybe a year old) in the LCARS Projects forum there (that's the one forum there that can only be viewed if you register). I don't know the scale. It might have been full size. I think it was framed with wood and used a lot of cardbord. I saw some pictures of it, but I'm not sure how much of the bridge he got finished.

Here's a link:

I'm making inquiries over there, thanks for the headsup...I didn't realize that site existed or else I'd have turned to them for help with my computer panels a long time ago!!!

I'd like to pursue any other leads you guys might have?

Slightly confused as to what you're after, but, wonder if the old 90's CD-Rom "Captain's Chair" could be of use?

Basically what I need is a floor plan of the Intrepid-class bridge that calls out the location of all the stations, all the stairs, and so forth, so I can base a 3D model off of it.

I found this one for the outline, but the problem is it's just that--an outline. I need something with more interior detail.

Here's the interior I'm tentatively working off of but this one is highly inaccurate in the shape of the walls, the walls forward of the science and engineering stations are too rounded here; the real set had walls that were angled a little more hardly so that the front of the bridge didn't look so circular.

I found a very small scan of of the actual Paramount blueprints from 1994 on Janet's Star Trek Voyager site, if I could get a larger version of that I'd be good to go.

There's also a larger diagram showing the locations and different images of the video monitors on the set, which looks good but unfortunately is inaccurate in some of the details of the inner furniture.

There are plenty of Voyager MSDs around, but if you can make use of this, feel free to use it:

I remember hearing about Captain's Chair a while back but I never actually got a copy, what exactly is it?

By the way, that deck schematic is AWESOME!!! Do you have one of those for the science lab or Astrometrics?

MSD looks awesome to, I'd love to make use of it.

If you guys would do me a smal favor, PM me how you want me to credit you down the line when this is actually in production, I'll hang onto it and be ready when the time comes. :-)

Captain's Chair is a virtual our of the bridges of Star Trek. For most of them, they where "filmed" on the actual bridges - E-D back in late 90s, originally released in the Tech Manual CD Rom, E-E, VGR, and Defiant done for Captain's Chair. They made a (pretty lame by comparison on realism scale) CG version of the 1701 bridge.

Basically... it's a virtual tour.

It's like http://voy.trekcore.com/multimedia/vr_tour.html <<< this, only 10X more interactive and 3X the resolution.

You can work the consoles. Examine every little tiny freaking detail. If you're making a 3-D Model of the Voyager bridge, you simply have to have this. As it's a 3-D video of the actual set of the actual bridge. :p Trust me, get your butt on e-Bay and buy a copy. Do it! ;) You can get every LCARS panel you want as well as examine the carpet fibers. :p

LCARS24: I was just preparing to ask if anyone had tackled the Conn station. I will DEFINITELY use those if it's okay with you :-)

That does indeed sound like it'd be a good asset, I'm definitely going to seek one out. Thanks for the tip! I heard about it but I always thought it was like another Bridge Commander or something.

I don't remember where those conn pix came from, probably Janet's Voyager site. But they were published in a magazine.

Frontier's suggestion of obtaining a copy of Captain's Chair sounds like the way to go. I have a couple of screencaps from it I found on the Web, and they are impressive.

Here's an article about Captain's Chair at Memory Alpha:

Oh. I've got that. Give me a bit, I'll find it in my archives. ;)

EDIT: Here you go.

I would suggest Captain's Chair, too, though. It'll give you so many little details for your own model, as it's a virtual tour of the bridge. ;)

Frontier, you wouldn't happen to have something like that for the Defiant bridge would you? And if anyone has LCARs for the different stations on the Defiant bridge, those would be nice as well (feel free to pm the information to me - don't want to completely hijack the thread.)
