It doesn't.
Not until the prices on those 4K monitors/TVs drop significantly.

Maybe there will be a market by the time the next movie comes.

Gojira, why won't you go see it on the big screen?

I have a disability called Chostochondritis. It is an inflammation of all the muscles and tendons in your ribcage. It makes breathing a bit of a challenge at times and overall it is a very painful condition. The more activityI do the more pain I feel.

Sometimes sitting up for a few hours can be very painful and the problem is that somedays are better than others.

Sometimes I can be fine one moment and in extreme pain the next. So when I am in a lot of pain I need to lie down and focus on my breathing until it subsides.

So I just don't bother with the movie theater anymore.

I am truly sorry to hear that, Gojira. I hope you see this film on DVD, at the latest, by the time that Thanksgiving roles around. If you have On-Demand services, you may be able to see it before that, too.

Thanks, I will show up at midnight at my local Walmart to get that DVD. That one along with Man of Steel and Pacific Rim.

The interesting thing about the quick turn around with DVDs is that some company is probably manufacturing them now.

DVD is still going strong in Australia. Blu-Ray racks are slowing encroaching on DVD space, but certainly not taken over yet.

I'll end up with the Blu-ray/DVD/3-D Mega Combo Pack even if I hate the movie. I'm such a sucker for Star Trek.

How else can you argue with people unless you've owned it and can play back to catch all the missteps?

My protest re ST V and the first episode of DS9 was to buy them as ex-rentals. (Eventually, I did also get them again as new sell-thru DVDs.)

Indeed. 98% of us own Final Frontier and Nemesis already, so this movie would have to be some special kind of terrible for us not to buy it.

Guilty as charged. I've paid for The Final Frontier on VHS, DVD and Blu-ray and Nemesis on DVD and Blu-ray.
