I noticed that there was more shots of the woman in the boardroom when Harrison blew it up, including one of Kirk running to her aid. I looked all over to see who the actress was to see if she had more of story in the film that got out. Can anyone who's read the novelization shed some more background on this or anyother scene that was in the trailers/novelization which wasn't in the final film?

I know of two deleted scenes. One where Kirk gives a BS log entry after they leave Nibiru, and one where Carol talks about being raised in London (supposedly explaining her accent vs. Carol Prime). The former I read about in an interview with Simon Pegg, and the latter one with Alice Eve.
I haven't read the novelization.
