I originally thought of this as just a topic of conversation but then thought it might make an interesting game. So here's what you need to do: 1. Name two species/powers/governments/etc. you'd love to see going up against one another 2. The next poster must decide who would win (they can explain their reasoning as well, should they so desire) 3. Same poster then names two other species (or could take the winner or loser of the last one) and the whole thing begins again. To get the ball rolling: Borg Collective vs. Tholian Assembly
Borg Collective vs. Tholian Assembly Belligerents: - Borg Collective, Cube 245 - Tholian Assembly - Assembly Defence Force 2nd 3rd and 4th fleets, Federation Starfleet - Starfleet Tactical Special Expeditionary Fleet, Klingon Empire - KDF 32nd Fleet. Outcome: The Cube was not able to be slowed before reaching Tholian Space. Several outlying systems were invaded and secondary craft were landed on inhabited and tactically important moons and planets. Majority of inhabitants were assimilated. The Combined Allied Fleet eventually intercepted the Cube and was able to cause enough damage that the cube fled back into TransWarp. Two months after the altercation the inhabitants of the outlying systems were killed by the 5th Fleet. Next Story: Kazon and Sikarians
Zakdorn easily out manoeuvre the Pakled fleet and lead them into a position far from re supply with a string of feints and hit and run attacks then trick them into wasting their single photon torpedo on a dummy target. The Pakled submit without a further shot being fired and surrender their ships. However the overconfident Zakdorn then lose the (now upgraded) ships in a wager over a game of strategema to a Romulan Tal Shiar agent intent on a plot to destabilise the sector by re arming the Pakled with the vessels and supplying them with cloaking devices. The Edo became offended that the Risians hate rain. They challenged them to a wrestling match. Unfortunately for the Risians, they had spent the whole week prior getting massages. The entirety of Pakled Expansionary Force Fleet #3 sets a course for the Delta Quadrant. 70 years later their descendants have forgotten what the original mission was and so the Pakleds settle that planet where the monster that ate Hogan lives. The Overlookers do some surveillance on the Pakleds, decide they're not worth the hassle and go have a mud bath. Next Match: 22nd Century Klingon Empire vs Andorian Empire
