Interior Designs??

Yes, this is a rough idea for a corridor. It is about a foot wider than the TNG corridor at 9'. I was thinking it would be closer to the corridors from TOS, which seemed to be wider. From deck to ceiling is 8'. I've also gone with a much thicker bulkhead frame at 10". I'll be treating the bulkhead a little different than they do in established Trek.

Keep in mind that the girl is only 5'4".

I don't know what era I'm thinking, whether it's TNG-Voy or a re-imagined TOS-Movie era.

Ah, I didn't realise she was that height.

FWIW, the TOS corridors were the same 8' as the later one, but without the visible support struts and panels at the sides - this made then seen wider in comparison

Main Hanger Bay: Looking at the couches in the seating area (3) and comparing to the docked ship (7), even allowing for perspective, is just seems to me that the ships are out of scale to the rest of the drawing.

Just how big is that ship anyway?

A little bit over two kilometers. She was supposed to be the embodiment of the size and greatness of the Federation, A ship, born out of pride and a bit of arrogance and that bit her in the ass in the end, because some politicians realized - belated - that... she's just to damn big. No one want's to send that behemoth on missions. Everyone is afraid they could end up sending false messages to the other Races in the Quadrant. Even before her maiden voyage, the ship becomes a playball in political games between several factions in Starfleet Command (some see her as a warship, some as a mobile starbase) and the Federation Council. I thought it would be interesting to show the politics behind such a bold project. I wish they would have done something like that with the galaxy class.

In other words, no premature praise for this Enterprise and her Crew. They have to prove their worth and that's a long (and hopefully interesting?) journey :)
