There are 2 books where the reader can be a crew member of the Starship Enterprise, and choose what happens next in the story. They are Voyage To Adventure and Phaser Fight. Anyone here read them?

I never knew these existed and am gonna have to hunt them down, now.

There's also the Star Trek III Plot-it-Yourself adventure Vulcan Treasure, which I do have.

Yep. I was out of the CYOA demographic, but they were fun.

Michael J Dodge is a pen name of John M Ford ("The Final Reflection", "How Much for Just the Planet?" and Klingon gaming materials for FASA).

I own Phaser Fight. I remember being displeased because at the beginning you get to choose to shadow Kirk, Spock, or McCoy (you're a cadet on a training mission, I think), and depending on who you shadow, different things happen. Like, if you shadow McCoy there's a space plague, but if you shadow Kirk there's not, so somehow your choices affect things they couldn't actually affect. That always bothers me in CYOA-style books.

For the record, Voyage To Adventure takes place during the third season of the original series. Phaser Fight takes place right after the Voyage Home.
