Infuriating work situations

You could be lunching all alone, with no-one speaking to you at all at work. At least people are talking to you!

People keep making me out to be a bum, a waster. I'm really a dynamo, and I've completed about three big projects and ten small ones in the past few years, whilst on tiring medication.

I just hope I'm going to be the one smirking, this time next week.

Seven people are dead and 13 have been injured by a lone gunman who entered an office building today screaming "who's the chav now?", while firing an assault rifle.....

My only outlet is this site, and there are other people in the same, or similar, situations, as far as I can see from reading here. That's why I post what I post.

If it all goes wrong, and I don't think it will, I will cry, lie in bed for a day, take in hand all the advice here, and start again, until I conk out. I will do all the right things at the right time, in the right order, and let other people do the fuming, and staple with a vengeance.

It's just amazing, how you can get people above you, convincing you that you deserve nothing, and getting you to put your foot in it. I've had it since I was fifteen. You've just got to ignore them.

Have you ever been in a position, where someone just above you, is reporting your ideas to a superior, keeping an eye on you, but making you out to be a jerk, really, and maybe keeping you as a photocopy clerk, when you could have your own office?

I feel I am in that position, a bit. I'm just hoping I get promoted soon. I feel a little Spock like, with one eyebrow raised, as to what people will do, and I am really hoping I don't have spend another ten years at the photocopy machine, if I get that.

With any luck, I'll have a new career soon.

Here's an idea for you to keep to yourself: Stop feeding the bottom-dweller your ideas.
