Indiana Jones

And I love Last Crusade because it was the best of the four films.

But yeah, Raiders is one of the better ones. Second best IMO.

I think I see how this thread is now going to go, intended or not.

I love Indiana Jones cause the whip is cool!

I love Indiana Jones because he's so dang FINE! Indy, you can leave your fedora on... ;)

I love Indiana Jones because he hearkens back to the old movie serials and Pulps, which I love. I love him because he's a wonderful character played by a wonderful actor. I love his movies because they're great. And I love him for being an adventure hero who says, "This belongs in a museum."

The Indy films are awesome. I love each one for different reasons.

There is only one type of person who doesn't like Indiana Jones. They are called liars.

Post what you like about Indiana Jones and why

well I love Raiders because it is the best out of the four films

Raiders: Awesome film, classic style and look great movie.

ToD: Meh. I could've done without shrieking idiot lady and pretentious annoying, pointless, kid.

LC: Much more on track and Connery is a screen-legend.

KotCS: Oy vey!

I love Indiana Jones because they're just really fun movies (Raiders is the best!), and I love his gear. When I was a teen I wanted to dress like Indy -- I got the brown fedora, brown baggy pants, battered brown shoes, the whip, the shoulder bag, the jacket... it's just a great look!

I like the sand everywhere ( well, In Raiders and Last Crusade)the bright sun in those same movies, and the eeire music associated with the Ark.

Oh, and the truck chase ( No, that should be capitalized, The Truck Chase)

What I like most of all about Indiana Jones is his playful attitude, because it makes him so funny and cool to watch. My favourite parts of the Indiana Jones movies I've seen (the first three) are just his sassy interactions with others. The way he bounces dialog off other characters is delightful, especially the women in the first two movies and his father in the third (which is the main reason it's my favourite).

Most of the action sequences didn't thrill me much (I'm more into dialog), but that mine cart sequence in the second movie is one of the most awesome things I've seen on film. I had major problems with the second Indiana Jones movie (I didn't like all the gore and poverty), but the awesomeness of that mine cart scene made all the crap worth sitting through.

Because in the first fifteen minutes of Raiders of the Lost Ark, this old jaded movie-goer felt like he was eight years old again. Those minutes alone would have been a great short film.

And in each one following, there have always been many sequences that made me feel the same way.

I like Indy because simply, he's entertaining. Something so few movies know how to be these days.

I love Indiana Jones because it's Indiana Jones.

Say what you will about KOTCS, you have to admit that everything up until the fridge was flawless Indy action. After the fridge, if you can buy that you can buy the rest no problem.

I contend the fridge isn't that bad. If you accept godly spiritual fire swirling around you and you only don't burn and die cause your eyes are closed then being hurled in a fridge from a nuclear detonation is nothing next to godly fire of death.

KOTS only goes over the top, imo, in the last 15min with aliens who couldn't just be aliens. No, they had to be interdimensional aliens who live in the spaces between the spaces.
