In-universe books you'd like to read

The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism.

Wait, sorry, wrong universe... ;)

Meditations on a Crimson Shadow.

And maybe some day I'll read I, The Jury just for the heck of it. ;)
Which episodes/books/whatever are those from?
"Meditations..." is the book Garak gives to Julian in The Wire. It's a story set in the future, where Cardassia and Qo'noS are at war.

And Miles loaned Odo a copy of the (real) novel "I, The Jury" which he is seen reading in Profit and Loss.

Which may be the only indication in canonical ST that people in the future still read science fiction.

I bet some of Scotty's technical journals would make interesting reading.

Also, Chicago Mobs of the Twenties.
