In defense of Jadzia/Julian

There is. What I mean is that no timeline is inherently more important than other "in - universe". We can shift blame, but thinking about timelines in which it didn't happen is the only thing that comes from it.

Anyway, Jadzia/Worf didn't end well to either Julian, Jadzia or Worf. Jadzia died untimely and Worf and Julian suffered (although it can be argued who suffered more).

Jadzia and Worf had three mostly happy years, and they made happy memories Worf will carry for the rest of his life and Dax will carry for as long as the symbiont lives. That's not so bad.

Yes, but it could be better. One of my most important questions is: if we would get Jadzia/Julian and not Jadzia/Worf, would events of Season 6 finale happen the same way?

If Jadzia/Worf doesn't happen, Jadzia gets sidelined among the characters. I don't think it makes it any more likely Berman would give a big raise or Farrell would stay.

I realize real - life reasons for Jadzia's death. Still, in - universe, would that happened. Because Jadzia could still be in the shrine during Dukat's attack (if it would be more similar, it could be because she and Bashir wanted to have a child), but, on the other side, Bashir was on the station at the same time, so, if they were married, the probability of her receiving help quicker is higher.

Bashir was on the station when Dukat invaded the temple and attacked Jadzia. That's why Bashir was able to save the symbiont.
