I'm not surprised either. There are a lot of trolls on there. Maybe they just got tired of dealing with them. It sucks that they're closing down, but I'm pretty much resigned to it.I'm kind of not really surprised. There has been an uprising of stupid and pointless threads. Sometimes I forget how horrible people are when they can cower behind their keyboards.
Trust me, people in their thirties and forties living in their parent's basement have a lot of disposable income. Not that I know anything on this matter, of course.I wish there was some middle option - say, charging a $5-10 per year fee to participate in the boards. It'd dissuade a lot of casual users, sure, but it'd also surely fend off most of the trolls and useless numbnutses.
I have never found a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Good riddance.
But wait, how else are we going to know if someone thinks a certain actor/actress is gay?![]()

Won't they still have their user generated lists? You know "150 actresses I can't stand" which lists essentially every actress currently working in the TV/film industry. How about which actress is hot? Or ugly? My God, think of the children who will grow up in a world where they won't have easy access to a place where an actress can be objectified! Except for all of the other places where they are objectified!
