I'm outdressed by an 8 year old

This kid's name is Arlo Weiner and he wears a top hat to school. Ouch.

Very good chance the last name is pronounced "Y-ner"--which isn't much better than "Wee-ner."

My maiden name was the first pronunciation. Yeah, got a lot of flack for it. My Dad's parents were from Europe--they weren't too good at naming their sons: Harry and Richard ("Dick"--engineers of that time named Richard were called Dick).

Just say the names, with the 'other' pronunciation.

Yes, I'm sure the kids at school will choose the more mature pronunciation.

I also question whether the words are actually the child's. Either he's incredibly articulate for an eight-year-old or his words have been massaged/edited for print.

Eventually, after years of verbal abuse by his schoolmates, young Arlo Weiner changed his name to Willy Wonka, and history was made.

I'm sure grade schoolers will respect that. ;)

I bet this poor kid gets his books dumped and his ass-kicked every day at school.

I mean, he wears a friggin' ascot?! Who is he? Fred Jones?

Well, they can edit his words without changing the meaning... removing 'um' and the like are common even with adults. Plus, he probably said ten things about each outfit and they picked the best one.

I think it's hilarious that he turned the belt from his bathrobe into a tie.

See, style genius.

There used to be an schoolboy thing of using ties as belts.

This kid reversed it. Awesome. :D

Interesting...a Neo Mod?....

Some mods never really went away and are still busy doing their thing. Some mod favourites are back in style these days too.
