I'm having a red hot Christmas

We will be having a record setting temperature here for Christmas Eve, 75 or so, though it will be considerably cooler on the big day itself. I was just wondering what's the hottest temp anyone has personally experienced on Christmas itself. Feel free to include instances that you may have happened to be in far flung locations such as Dubai, Tataouine, Mecca (unlikely), or Ayers Rock.

By the way, I hope everyone's holiday is a memorable and joyous one!!!!

It's going to be at least 85 F where I am in Florida. Call the Heat Miser. Oh well.

Merry Christmas to all.

Huh, 85 in Florida. Now that's unusual.

Here in Chicagoland, it was 50+ today. I can only hope for higher the next couple days.

Should be 80 F for Christmas. Not terribly happy about that. Was hoping for an actual winter this year. Oh well.

Merry Christmas!!

we are expecting SNOW at about 2500 ft here in the SF bay area tomorrow and into Christmas, closest thing I can get to a white Christmas down here at 100ft above mean sea level..

Supposed to be 72 today in northern New Jersey, which will be a record-setter for 12/24. Looking at 65 for tomorrow. Crazy.

It'll be around 70F here tomorrow. Cloudy and rainy all week ahead, though. :(

High 60s here today...reminds me of when I used to live in Florida.

The weather's been up, down, and all over the place around here, though. I closed storm windows back in October because we were getting some bitter nights. There's a saying in these parts: "Welcome to New England....If you don't like the weather, wait a minute."

35C (95F) predicted for Hobart today. If it reaches that it will be the hottest Christmas in 75 years.

The weather has been crazy so far. It feels like Winter in the Bay Area, and it's rained a lot. We still need a ton of rain to solve our drought problem, but I've heard we haven't even had El Nino yet. I wonder what January will bring.

Can't believe the hot weather in the midwest and east though. For anyone in Tornado country, hope you all stay safe.

It's good and snowy in the idyllic location of the village that I put up earlier.

As for here...I can't even wear my favorite Christmas turtleneck/sweater combo, because it's too warm for a turtleneck, never mind the sweater.

There'll be soapflakes in the air in Bedford Falls soon....

Hell, hubby and I were walking around in short-sleeve shirts all day. We had the A/C going in the car on the drive to Austin.

This warm weather displeases me. It's hot here all fucking year long. The only time we have a shot at cold weather is Christmas through Valentine's Day. I want my cold winter, dang it!

Hey, Ar-Pharazon, yeah I got that news from friends and family back there..."RedHot" in another way, as they are all fighting with each other and being hurt like little kids because everybody is going somewhere else and nobody invited the other one and nobody is having Christmas...Jesus, if that is true, then who in the hell is getting dissed/hurt/ignored?? :guffaw:

Ah, the Christmas Spirit! Sweet Home, Chicago!

Should get to 100F out here in the desert...little cooler in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Blue Skies and nice (?) breeze.
