my question is.. whee is engineering? I mean that one clip they released where the shuttle takes off (to go after the platform) it looks like the shuttle bay looks like it takes the entire secondary hull, but engineering here looks it also would have to take the entire engineering hull.

Do they use a warp core in this film?

I certainly hope so, but the warp cores in ENT and TOS seemed to lie flat along the secondary hull (well, TOS is more of an implied example). I don't think we saw an upright warp core until TMP.
