I'm considering crossing over...

Congrats on the purchase. I love the new Accord coupe, and Belize Blue is a really unique color.

Very cool! I'll hold out for the next few model years and for me to get going in my career and then be able to pick one of those up in all it's fully loaded SS glory.

In other news, this car is about $25 less per month to insure, and that's after I even added some coverage I didn't have on the truck. :)

^Bet 90% of that savings is in your liability coverage.

Sweet looking car man. Did you have to add any months onto the end of the old contract, or will this be paid off at the same time the truck would have been?

On getting the Four vs the v6, I can't speak about the Accord, but I've driven both in similar model Camry's. Except for when driving up a 5-6% grade on the Interstate with the AC on, I didn't notice any difference, and the Four will save you cash at the pump and handle a little better (less weight).

Yeah the car i learned how to drive in, a 1977 Chevy Caprice Classic, handled like an aircraft carrier.

That's an undertstatement...turn and turn and turn and turn the wheel and maybe 2 minutes later it will turn. Miss the size though. No worries about leaving anything or anyone behind anywhere. Just throw 'em in the trunk with Jimmy Hoffa.

Your Dad still have that thing?

There's a sad story about that car. My dad bought it new off the lot in '78. All 3 of his sons, me obviously included, learned how to drive in that car. He was the only owner of that car. After he got his Nissan Titan in '07, he didn't need the Chevy anymore, so shortly after i got my car, he had me call Ecology Auto Wrecking and take not only my old Chrysler, but his old car as well. It was sad. My first car went away, and ... so did 30 years of family history. :( I cried.

I probably won't be able to get one until at least the next summer. That's providing it goes pretty well with work this winter. I just hope they keep a V8 in the SS...
