i actually changed the comm badge after those uniforms were made to something completely original.hellsgate said:

in the illustrious trek-verse the illustrious and all the other ships of the same class belong to a specific division of starfleet, and only members of that division wear the new uniforms - the rest of the fleet are still in S7 ds9 style uniforms.

your grey variant is close to my Charlie X update of the Star Trek Zero cadet uniform. I just added department color apulets (they just sit on the very top of the shoulders), collar, pant stripes, and belt. Then I changed the boot color to grey.

The officer uniforms without the torso black side bars, and belly and butt points are great! Close to how I did the Charlie X update of the officer's uniform from Star Trek Zero: I just took the points off the shoulders, made the black just sit on the top of the shoulders, changed the collar to black, added black horizontal stripes around the sleeve cuffs, made the pants grey, and added black stripes down the sides.
Ok, I admit it I'm a Babylon 5 fan. :thumbsup:
The vertical department shoulder stripe is something I kept when I combined the TNG Season 3, and Wrath uniforms last year. Interesting...
Yours is what should have been on TNG. Congrats!
