If you won a dinner date with any regular Trek actor, who would it be?

Re: If you won a dinner date with any regular Trek actor, who would it

I have temporarily returned from the netherworld of the regenerative division of the EIB network...to answer the summons of this poll, via wifi. :)

Why? Simple:

Nicole DeBoer. Yes, I know, it's shocking that I would pick her. :p Just see some of the comments either Rush Limborg or I have left around the site about why she's my favorite.

I call "Amen". Nicole all the way.

Still...it's unfortanate that she's, well, "taken". Kinda makes it impossible IRL. :(

Ah, well. I'm assuming, of course, that this theoretical scenario is one in which she's single--so as to avoid any meat for the tabloids, at the very least. *sigh*

Nicole de Boer. We hardly got to know Ezri. Wouldn't mind if they did ST: Aventine.

I wouldn't "mind" that either..

How AWESOME would that be?!!

"Third"-ed! :techman:

I won't deny that he's good looking. :) But for me, "nice" is the defining factor--nothing ruins good looks quicker than being an IRL jerk (as opposed to playing a jerk on a show).
I wouldn't say it's a looks thing... it's never just about the looks, not for me... There is just... something about him. Some people just have it... others may be incredibly handsome, but they just leave me indifferent.

So are you the type that likes the older guy.
I was wondering if you were dating a guy online or real life.

Nice question! I always overthink these though, if i won dinner with one of those people id just sit there to scared to say anything!

Must be Armin Shimerman though, not only do you get a great trek actor, you get someone who really likes the show. I get the idea Armin really likes the show and really enjoys talking about it and meeting the fans, he seems so nice in interviews. Thats something I get from most of the DS9 cast, but Shimerman in particular. Second place would be Nana Visitor for much the same reason, but she'd probably just fall in love with me... Awkward.

I cant believe Nicole De thing is number 1! Shatner is not going to be happy!

Definitely Nimoy. We could talk all night about just about anything and maybe he'd let me in on how he retained his delicious "mojo".

Charisma, maybe?
Exactly. :techman:

And he seems... interesting, from what I know about him. A guy who's into Leonard Cohen and Shakespeare, has a pet wolf and has been riding Harley Davidson all his life sounds like someone I'd like to meet. :D

The older guy in question, yes. Not older guys in general. ;)

Terry Farrell. I only got to meet her very briefly, once, and she's always been one of my favorites. She's always been the hottest, IMHO, as well. I'd just love to spend more time with her than the 5 minutes I have.

Jeri Ryan. I love her. :adore:

A pet wolf? Fascinating indeed! (MOST people aren't qualified for such a pet, but if someone is, I think they have the right to own one.)

And Shakespeare is always good for conversation. And that means there has to be other classic literature there as well...obviously Milton and Dante were never on the stage, but still, one DOES have to have a certain level of scholarship in addition to acting skill, to pull off Shakespeare. (As to why I pick out those two authors, that's a whole other thread. ;) ) Lots of good conversation material there.
