Mind Reading would be amongst the most useful and powerful.
Imagine to know all the thoughts of the person before you. You can adapt perfectly to everything they want/need ensuring the best possible outcome for you which would make it the best for personal gain.
Coolest would be flight i suppose.. i like to travel by plane and to be able to soar through the sky without a big metal tube around you would be awesome.

Mind control and I would be somewhat of a villain.
I'd love to be master of time and space like Hiro from Heroes. Or does that count as two powers? Being able to freeze time at will would be awesome but would very probably send me mad with power. I shudder to think what might seem like "harmless fun" after a few weeks.
Immortality would be a great option. I'd love to have time for everything, and to see how it all ends... but I wouldn't want to spend eternity alone on the charred hulk of what was once the Earth

The ability to will things in or out of existence.
I remember having a dream one time, where I discovered I could manipulate reality with my mind. Telekinesis gave me a strong feeling of liberation. People were hurled. Then mountains were ripped up and tossed away, and the earth was disassembled less than one minute later.

I would want the "Supposed to be there" power meaning wherever I go people will just assume I am supposed to be there and will not question what I am doing. I could walk into a bank vault and take money and nobody would bother me because they will think that is what I was supposed to be doing. I could go into secret CIA archives and take anything I want and not be stopped.
Invisibility. I have a list of reasons:
1. pull down the saggy pants of teens, not to see their junk, but to get them to stop doing it.
2. Gibbs my students up side of the head to get them to wake up and get working, follow rules, stop being the south end of a north bound horse
("to Gibbs" v to hit someone on the back or side of the head who needs a wake up call. from NCIS)
3. to be able to stop little kids from running all over the place simply by holding on to their shirt back with a hand over their mouth until the elusive parent returns and then lift said kid off floor and thrust them into said parents arms with a menacing warning of "Do your job, loser."

i could resist injury by deflecting any attacks, i could fly by mental levitation and lay the smack down without lifting a finger.

Flight. It has no real use on its own, but the thought of taking to the sky above the city is too much to resist.

This kind of ability pretty much guarantees a roller-coaster of feats you could do.
Flight, conversion of matter from one form into another, enhancement/regeneration of your own cellular structure (for extending the lifespan or preventing fatal injuries), keeping up a low level personal field around your body that prevents anything from getting through (and that's just the start).
With enough time on your hands, you'd likely be able to 'evolve' the ability into something else down the line.
