A Chase Bank Card. I can't think of anything all that wonderful at the moment, but I think it would be cool to leave some sort of art, or maybe a small journal (providing they could actually be preserved somehow). Nothing that foretold of any particularly momentous moment in the future, just a glimpse into someone else's perception, worlds away.

This reminds me of a creative writing assignment we had in 6th grade. We had to write a story about being sent back to the Stone Age and we could only bring one item. I chose a 100-volume encyclopedia because having all that knowledge at my disposal would not only help me survive, but help build my own civilization. The kids liked it so much, I ended up writing at least a half dozen sequels throughout the year. A few months ago, I was going through some old stuff and discovered that I still have the first one.
