If you could get them to...

If you could get the remaining actors from all the iterations of Star Trek to commit to reading "The Trek BBS" for a week, what kinds of things do you think they would have to say?

Would they be surprised?, pleased?, upset?

What would they say?

"What the #%<€ is wrong with you?"

- William Shatner

"You people are #%<€ed!"

- Patrick Stewart

"Oh my. Visit my Facebook page."

- George Takei

"Who the #%<€ are you people?"

- Brent Spiner

"Start a letter writing campaign for a Captain Worf show. Or at the very least more appearances by me on Castle."

- Michael Dorn

"Die already."

- Walter Koenig

"What the #%<€ am I doing here?"

- Chris Pine

Who's Chris Pine?

Oh yeah....Robert Pine's son.

Isn't he some sort of actor?

Almost forgot...
Jolene Blalock wants to know why there isn't an active thread about HER catsuits.

The smart/fortunate ones would say, "Gee, I'm glad I made that percentage deal with the franchise."

The not-so-smart/unfortunate ones would say, "Gee, I should have made some kind of percentage deal with the franchise."

I think the actors would be politic about dealing with fans just as they do at conventions. They'd kind of ignore the negative stuff, answer the questions they feel like answering and maybe have some fun.

The better question is, how would we treat them?

Undoubtedly, Jonathan Frakes would be most impressed with the total body of work which I have posted on this site. Furthermore, I'm convinced that he would express an interest in collaborating with me on an Independent Movie Project, as a direct result of reading my thoughts, opinions and insights. In fact ... I've already begun to outline some ideas, in case of such an eventuality. A few sketches, perhaps, in storyboard format, to add to the texture, or flavour of these various story treatments. So, yes, you may well say that I'm very much looking forward to Jonathan Frakes logging onto TrekBBS.com.

What the hell is "star trek?"

I mean sure it's on my resume, but so is a lot of other things.

:)

I would be honored yet slightly embarrassed if they happen upon one of my critical posts because, bottom line, I'm not out to hurt anyone's feelings.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out at some point that Tim Russ, Jolene Blalock, and Wil Wheaton DO visit the site on occasion, now. And while they aren't Trek actors, I'd be less than shocked to find out that Vin Diesel and Reese Witherspoon come here, too. They're all nerds and at least mild Trekkies - our kind. :techman:

As for the rest, I think it depends on whether their characters were generally well-received or not. They'd probably all think that we have too much time on our hands, but I can see someone like Patrick Stewart or John Billingsley walking away happy that their work is appreciated - whereas someone like Anthony Montgomery or Garrett Wang might find it a bit depressing.

Basically this....

I've read rumors that Chase Masterson (DS9's "Leeta") actually did come here and post for a while. Unfortunately, she was treated disrespectfully (understatement), so she left.

Garrett Wang might find it a bit depressing.

yes, especially since my only cast criticism was saying Garrett was the whiner. (in comparison to his role, Ensign Kim which the question was originally about)
I like Kim. Garrett rubs me the wrong way. But that's not the topic

I want William Shatner on here so I can ask him about the "Shatner Project".
What he's doing to his home looks really nice.

If they came here and announced themselves, everyone would be sure they were fakes, so they'd be shouted down, which would be a disheartening experience for everyone involved.
