Journeyman. Started ok, quietly got better just about every episode until the end of S1, which finished on a high note. Sadly, it had already been canceled.

This was one of the most disappointing cancellations. it was an excellent riff on the Quantum Leap formula

It definitely had its cheesy moments. But I thought the writing was improving by leaps and bounds by the end of its run. I would have loved to see where they went next with the characters.

This is going back a ways, but I wish KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER had lasted more than one season.

(And, no, the recent ill-conceived reboot doesn't count.)

Definitely could have used more Invader Zim. The show was saving all its budget in season two for a epic as hell season finale that unfortunately never had a chance to happen.
