If Texas and Alaska Secede

There's a good chance I am an insane person who doesn't know what he is talking about, but lately I have been thinking California should secede from the Union, take Alaska with us, and annex Baja California as well.

Californians are already and arrogant isolated bunch who thinks the rest of the country doesn't matter because we have everything already.

Spoken like a true SOUTHERN Californian. We in Northern California love the rest of the country and were happy to share all of our tech advances of the last 30 years with the world. (Which, in turn, helped lead to the incredible tech industry growth in Austin, Texas) :)

Actually it's quite the reverse. I lived in Monterey for 24 years. I lived in San Francisco for 14, and would really like to go back. I came her to La-La Land only eight months ago. Maybe I am just insane. But really come on, are you saying you don't know one single person from SF or Berkeley that thinks there better than everyone else in the world? I could direct you to my old alma mater SFSU where there are whole herds of them.:techman:

I don't see Alaska secedeing unless they have secret nuke facilitys we don't know about! because I see Russia makeing a power grab on Alaska if they do secede.

If Texas secedes, I might have to move back there pretty quickly... :)

Thankfully I'm in TEXAS! if TEXAS were to secede, I see them doing better then Alaska. Plus, if mehico becomes a problem we texans can take care of it!

Well, that's a fairly universal trait among ALL college students, isn't it? ;)

This is one Alaskan, 3rd generation, born and raised, that is happy to count myself as a member of the United States. Secession won't get my vote.

^

See, now, if you were Quebec, you would consider that grounds for a referendum on separation right there.

"Another humiliation!"
