If studios someday show guts like they did in '82....

Unless you got a flat tire at the drive-in, which happened to us at a James Bond triple feature. My poor dad spent a good chunk of Goldfinger changing the tire.

And, when the wind was blowing the wrong way, you could smell the manure in the cow field next door . . . .

And, yeah, COCOON and LIFEFORCE are like the yin/yang of alien energy movies. In fact, both movies feature a "sex" scene where the human hero and the sexy female alien share their life-forces. It was weird to see both of them on the same afternoon . . . .

I love Lifeforce. It's like they just thought of every cool idea they could and haphazardly jammed them all together into one movie. Beautiful naked women who snog you to death, space vampires, zombies destroying London, spaceships, Patrick Stewart made of blood, and so much more.

I have seen that film so many times, I wore the VHS out when I was a kid, in some places more than others

It'll be harder to wear out a DVD of Lifeforce. Of course London being destroyed makes a difference from other cities like Tokyo, New York etc..

It seems as if certain cities are deemed more popular for when it comes to destruction.
