Why even worry about this now? Is there any reason to expect that the movie will flop this far in advance? As opposed to any other movie?
Nobody makes a movie in the expectation that it will fail. And all movies are potential hits until proved otherwise.
I think this falls into the category of, "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
In the meantime, I don't see any point in wringing our hands over next year's box-office results.
