Which apparently is still very much a
minority when compared to the continual existence of pretty much everyone else that enjoys JJ Abrams' Star Trek films.
I'm sure like everyone else, you have friends that aren't Star Trek fans, but still go to see JJ Trek films because it's just a fun, non inclusive blockbuster.
My friend who will see any trash, while on a date, is not someone I would include in the Trek fans who support JJ demographic. That's the major movie going audience that studio's target and should not be used in your argument.
