If only moments.

So, I went to see Avatar last... well now it's two nights ago. Anyway, we went to see it at an Imax theater. While waiting for the film to start I started bitching about a number of things about going to the movies which bug me. As I rang off my lists of the ways I would run things if I ran a movie theater I came to a point where I said "If only I had the money I would so do it."

Thinking about it today (yesterday as it's past midnight) I realized that this was one of the few times where I actually hit an "If only" moment.

Do any of you have these moments? If so, are they a regular thing for you, or do they only creep up once in a while?

I do that alot. Ofcourse having the money to do it is always the problem.

I have many business ideas if only I had the money to do them.

I would appreciate a gym where I found out the owner banned people for a certain amount of time if they left weights on the floor or spit in the shower and all that.
So what I'm saying is if I open a gym, that'll be one of the main selling points.

I hate that shit too. Put the weights back on the rack in their proper place and clean up after yourself.

I learned this back in the football weightroom back in High School. If people were slobs like that, they paid the price.

I also have one of those "what if" scenerios..just last night I was watching "NCIS" and Tony and his so-called "girlfriend" Jeanne were at a party together. She was dressed in a really beautiful dress and looked lovely. And he looked absolutely spectacular. Anyway I was thinking to myself: "if only I had a man like Tony come around once in a while, then things would be better for me.."

I've had a few "if only" moments...but when i think back, had i NOT had them, i don't think i would have ended up with the life i have today......and although i am not rich or famous or doing anything that could be deemed "important" by the world around me, I do love the place i am in now. Although i DO wish i had followed up on some of the career dreams I had...but overall, i'm happy.

I can safely say that this year has been one where I have not regretted the things I have or haven't done. I decided to say the things I wanted to say, and yes, it has landed me in trouble more often than not, but I often feel glad that I have done those things.

If anything, my regret is that I hadn't done these things sooner.
