If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it be?

If they brought back a classic villain in the sequel, who would it be?

Okay, I'm not saying they should do the whole "adapt an episode" idea, in fact I personally am against it. However, I would not have a problem if they had a classic villain (although I'm against Khan, although I include him in the poll) show up, so long as they do something original with it.

So who would you want?

[Kirk Scream] KAAAAAAAHN! [/Kirk Scream]

j/k

Maybe not as the main villian but I'd like to see a Kirk-Gorn rematch.

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

Now it has a poll. I put some joke suggestions in it and excluded ones that wouldn't have the same stuff behind it in the new timeline (like Kodos and the thing that defeated the Farragut)

Something else: Apollo. What a brilliant hour of television that episode was!

The Mirror Universe.

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

The Doomsday Machine and Commodore Decker would be nice.

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

Either bring back the Klingons or create a new bad guy from scratch.

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

my first thought was "the Romulan Comander" from the Balance of Terror.
that was a fantastic episode.
You would need one hell of an actor though.

I could also see the Gorn working...somehow.

mirror, mirror could be interesting.

please no Borg or Klingons. They are both great, but tbh they are used too much. Lets give them a bit of a rest.

Id like to see an Andorian take a later role though.
I think the guy who plan Shran (Sp?) could make a good villain in a movie.
Of course that would mess with the Andorians in the federation and all...but this is a new timeline/dimention whatever. So why not?

i think its a NEW series, why rehash old ideas?
Why not take a radical redirection and have new enemies or explore some races we dont see too often in Trek.
Why reley on the same guys we all have seen a million times?
Wheres the fun and creativity in that

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

oh, I also meant to say that I could imagine a reworking of the Devil in the Dark working...

that said they will come up with something completely new I think

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

I wouldn't mind seeing the Doomsday Machine, Khan in the next film. I wouldn't mind The Borg in the future either.

Re: If one classic ST villain could be included in a sequel, who'd it

Mara from Day of the Dove played by Milla Jovovich. No ridges please.

I wouldn't mind The Borg in the future either.

We know, of course, what would happen in the prime timeline TOS: Kirk would bang the Queen, Scotty would get a few drones drunk, and if all else failed Spock would just ask the Collective what the exact value of Pi is. Game Over. Federation wins.
