If I Could Own ONLY ONE Episode of DS9 on DVD, It Would Be...

For some of you this thread might be difficult to post in. For me it's easy.
If I Could Own ONLY ONE Episode of DS9 on DVD, It Would Be...
The Way of the Warrior. But I'd want it the way it is on the DVDs I have. I'd want it to be a continuous 2 hour episode. NO TO BE CONTINUED... halfway through.
I love The Way of the Warrior. It's my favorite episode of the whole series. It has all the best parts of any good episode of any Star Trek show.

I'd go with The Way of the Warrior as well. Everyone nails it in that episode. It has everything.

I don't even know what scene the "to be continued" moment happens

I was describing the way it is on the DVDs I have. There is NO TO BE CONTINUED... in it.

While I love the series, I think if I could only own one episode, it would be Emissary. I think the episode had everything that made DS9 so great, and I could show it to someone who might not have seen Star Trek before. You had probably Star Trek's best Captain in Picard (I know it's debatable but he was my favorite), A well written character drama piece with Sisko about a single father unable to let go, and it introduced the elements that made DS9 great to begin with. That, and it was 90 minutes so you get an added bonus.

When it's split up for TV, the "To Be Continued" happens when Worf first meets with Gowron - right after Gowron says "Glory awaits you on Cardassia."

Personally, if I had one episode to choose, it would be In the Pale Moonlight. Not a very shocking choice, but it has everything that makes DS9 unique, IMO.

Hmmm... have to go with To the Death due to all the Jem'Hadar-y goodness.

Although, there was an awesome looking Jemmie in a DS9 ep- one of the ones where the Dominion was going to meet the Breen... could do with a closer view of him. XD

I would go with the series finale, What you leave behind. It would serve as a reminder of all of the story arcs that took 7 years to resolve.

For me it would be His Way, that episode brings a smile to my face every time (I don't think I'll ever grow tired of watching it), and it is one of my favourite episodes of DS9. It's just so nice Odo and Kira getting together, and Vic's deception is some awe-inspired writing, love it!

The Siege of AR-558. Awesome episode that shows the foot soldier on the front lines of the Dominion War. Very gritty episode and it is episodes like this and others that make Deep Space Nine the best Trek series.

Oh my. You guys are naming some great episodes. It got me to thinking.
If I could only own one hour of 'The Way of the Warrior' and NOT the entire 2 hour episode the way it is on DVD then my choice would be the season 3 episode 'Civil Defense'. I love Dukat and Garak's verbal sparring matches. I think 'Civil Defense' was the episode that had the most Quark and Odo scenes in it until the season 5 episode 'The Ascent'.

I love that episode, too!

For me, it would be a tough choice between In the Pale Moonlight, Far Beyond the Stars or What You Leave Behind.

But I'll settle for anything that has either Weyoun, Damar or both of them in it. :D

There are so many for so many different reasons, but I guess The Way Of The Warrior would be the one to me if pushed.

Excluding the episodes that have already be named, I'd pick Treachery, Faith and the Great River. Love both the A and B plots.
