If anyone can stomach another viewing of "Code of Honor" ...

I think I've said it as clear as I can.

If you say so....:wtf:

And who exactly were the 'Legarans'....?

I don't remember them.

Here's my take on the episode.

I believe that Western Culture has been taught to think in terms of how we act vs how other cultures act. We have already been given a template of how african culture is supposed to be.

Code of Honor seems to be an episode based almost 100% on what most people "think" african culture is like, and since the episode was showing them in a negative fashion, we automatically "assume" that the episode is an attempt to mock african culture, and therefore we see it as "racist".

Let's see, according to the episode:

*The Ligonians have literal 'black blood'...
*The Ligonians fight for their honor in an advanced technological arena...
*The Ligonians are strong-willed people, proud...

So, you're saying that is showing what is actually occurring in Africa now....? Or what will be Africa...in the future?

Interesting....(And you say that is 'negative'?)

Wow....! I want to go to the motherland to see if it is indeed true...!;)

Sidenote:According to Marvel Comics, there is an African area--a mixture of ancient and advanced technology and customs--called Wakanda...and there is a bad-ass named 'Black Panther'....(who whipped another called 'Captain America')....

Would you say that is negative, as well?:)

Not only is this one just downright bad, it's also embarrassing. I mean hide under the covers, avert your eyes, leave the room embarrassing. The music is so totally beside the point here. Mozart could have the score for this turkey, and it would still suck.
