This interveiw has the parents of a well known person who was making something of himself as a star of a few movies and shows.
he was in trouble with the law around a few monthes back for attacking his girlfreind but l think this was tossed out of court but this time he attacked his current girlfreind who has saparated from him now.

it goes to show you can be a star or have everythnig at your feeet but you can lose it in a second if yuo are not careful.

Anyway have a look at this clip and the veiws the parents have of there star son

he is in a hospitol having treatment now which should have been taken quite a few years back.

When someone is famous and others are riding on their coattails, they'll do and say anything to reinforce whatever behavior makes the person happy, even if it's terribly unhealthy and dangerous, because they don't want to lose their meal ticket. Look at Michael Jackson, that one ended in tragedy. People like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are heading down that path as well, and it will end in tragedy unless someone slaps some sense into the both of them.

Such people have friends who will look the other way as long as it means they can keep living off of their friend's celebrity, and that is the problem.

Yes also it is the people who you socaize with who can get you into trouble with drugs and other things.

But this guy was even having problems when he was a child.

He had a terrible temper and he would do things that were not right and to see someone go onto more serous things is a shame.
The mum even told the girlfreind the current one to be careful of what she did not to get him worked up
That is a warnig sign

he was just about to start a show called the X Factor but decided to be treated instead.

In this case the parents are more famous than the son. He is well known but they have been an important part of the Australian entertainment industry for more than 50 years. Their son is not their meal ticket.

Well the son was getting his share of the fame too.
But he was not under his parents wing he was making something of himself

Also l dont think that Bert and patty were trying to make money out of this they wanted to let people out there to be careful who you get involved in and not to go to the exstent and bash women.

they want people to get help with there problems.
I do find that in Australia there is not enough help for people with mental illness they prefer to let them wander it is not until they do something bad that they look after them


He was the star of the Underbelly series which brought Mathew wide success

I think that Matthew Newton's problems started in childhood and might be partly as a result of having famous parents. Also if he is bipolar that might be a cause of some of his bad behaviour especially if he is refusing to take his medication (because he thinks it hampers his creativity).
