IDW's Hive comic, with a story by Brannon Braga and script by creators/showrunners of 12 Monekeys

Yesterday I started reading IDW's TNG: Hive comic, which was written by Terry Matalas & Travis Fickett, the showrunners/creators of Syfy's 12 Monkeys, and has a story by Brannon Braga.
I read through issue 1, and I enjoyed it overall. I did get a big kick out of seeing Vash again, and the set up with the future Borg seems interesting. My only complaint so far is that the present day stuff with the Borg looking for help with the Voldranaii seems pretty much the same as what happened with Species 8472.

Hive has some good things...I got the whole thing in a kindle sale...but some of it is offensively unpleasant from a couple of points of view. The smallest of which is its desire to contradict as much of other Trek media versions as it can (not just around the Borg either.)

I found Hive highly enjoyable.

The only thing I care about is whether or not the story is entertaining. Pocket does their thing, IDW does their thing. The readers really are the winner here.

Like I said, that was its least problematic part xD that I could have lived with. The other nonsense........ick

I forgot to post my thoughts after I finished it.
I enjoyed it. I definitely prefer the novel's version of the post-Nemesis era, but this was still pretty good.
I got a kick out of seeing Vash.
I loved that they actually had Vale and Tuvok on the Titan, although none of the other characters were regonizeable,
The twist with the Voldranaii was good.

I think you mean Vale, right?
