IDW Mirror Khan one shot: 'Hells Mirror'

Fascinating.
(and as Groucho put it in Animal Crackers, "I'm fascinated too. Right here on the arm.")

Mirror-Khan sounds like a nice guy. I might actually buy this one. (The last comic book of any kind that I bought was the graphic novel, The Prince and the Dressmaker. Which is not a drag at all. And I think the last ST comic I bought was probably a TMP tie-in.)

The logo on the side makes me think that that must have been part of a theme month where different IDW comics all did Archie variant covers. Those kind of themed months are a pretty common thing these days, for example Marvel just announced they are doing a Fortnite month where a bunch of there comics will be getting covers featuring Fortnite characters with alongside the comic's main character.

You probably don't have to wait that long, I think it only survives on surfaces for a few hours. If you got it in the morning, you'd probably be OK by that evening, or vice versa.

The consensus seems to be that the virus dies on paper or cardboard within 24 hours, and it would usually take more time than that to get it shipped to you in the first place. Warm temperatures and sunlight also kill viruses faster. And there have been no documented cases of anyone getting sick from the mail or from touching any contaminated surface. Respiratory transmission is the main method.

To play it safe, best bet is just to wash your hands thoroughly after handling any mail or package, and avoid touching your face.

Where's the best place to get one in hardcopy, with minimal shipping charges? It appears that if I go publisher-direct, I'd pay more for the shipping than the opus itself. (I'm in Orange County, California if it makes a difference, and if you don't care to broadcast an answer, feel free to PM me.)

Do you have any comic shops around you? A lot of the ones that aren't allowing in store shopping are still doing curbside pick up.
This site will help you find the nearest ones if you aren't sure.

read it - wow that was... definitely messed with expectations (as youd expect)
e.g. we're led to believe Khans ultimate weapon would be the Genesis device or something similar when it turns out to be ... well i wont spoil it. Khans alliance uniforms, and underground base/'weapon' feels looks like something from a 70s rejected Roddenberry pilot :D Plus theres odd fun nod/homage to TWOK & Kelvinverse - specifically ID - 'for centuries i slept..' and remote detonating the photon torpedoes

I'm not sure when this takes place. Kirk and Spock certainly still seem like they're on the same page, tempting me to place it before Mirror, Mirror...except for that one big thing that happens.

Completely forgot about this. Nobody local had it back in September. Ordered one out of an outfit in North Carolina called "Atomic Empire." Opted for "shipping by slow boat," as I'm in no hurry. (And I wasn't kidding about The Prince and the Dressmaker not being a "drag.")
