IDW 500 issue count

Hi everybody,

Does anybody know how IDW reached the 500 count? According to my count there has only been 93 other issues since 400 making #500 the actual 494th issue.

Those issues are

Lower Decks 1-3
Resurgence 1-5
SNW: The Illyrian Enigma 1-4
Defiant 1-18
Annual 1
Day of Blood 1
Day of Blood Prelude 1
Day of Blood Shax 1
DS9: Dog of War 1-5

SNW: Scorpius Run 1-5
Picard's Academy 1-6
The Scheimer Barrier 1-4
TNG: Holo-Ween 1-4
Defiant Annual 1
Sons of 1-4
Celebrations 1
Annual 2024 1

Have I missed something or is #500 not actually #500?

Stargazer came out from August 22 to October 22, and 400 came out in September 22, so two issues of that would bump your total up to 95 at least.

And the Trill Spotlight was apparently November 22, so that's up to 96.

In order to reach the correct count for 400 I had to count every issue of any limited series that was started berfore it was printed even if the limited series ended after 400 was published.

So Stargazer and Trill would be in the "300's"

I’ve never done the count myself, but I had heard when 400 came out that it wasn’t really #400. So I doubt they’re holding themselves to an exact count or schedule.
